Materials

Solid wood legs – Black Locust (Robinia) is a naturally rot-resistant wood, often referred to as European Teak. Not to be confused with Acacia, which is significantly less durable.
Origin: Sourced from Slovenian forests.
Manufacturing: Sawn and processed (glued-laminated, machined) in Slovenia, then sent to Latvia for pre-assembly.
Certification: FSC-PEFC certified.
Hardware: A4 stainless steel screw inserts.
Protection: LDPE reinforcements under the feet ensure easy movement across your terrace and provide excellent insulation against ground moisture.
Maintenance: To simplify care, our wooden furniture is treated exclusively with a natural oil that does not flake and deeply nourishes the wood.

Warranties and maintenance

The Piano Piano Garden Coffee Table comes with a 3-year warranty, covering discolouration and abnormal wear and tear resulting from normal use.

To keep your set in good condition, here are a few tips:

There’s no need to clean or sand your wood: if you leave it outside all year round, simply brushing on a little oil every two years without any prior preparation will give it a fresh new look. Without this maintenance, its mechanical strength remains unaffected. Over the years, black locust wood may turn grey – it takes on a light, slightly silvery hue, which is also why we chose it.

Shipping

Shipping usually takes between 7 to 10 working days (excluding pre-order items). At checkout, you can choose the shipping service and carrier that suits you best. You will also have the option to select a delivery time slot. Deliveries are made to the ground floor of your property. Cutting-edge expertise in aluminium coating

We have selected 5-series aluminium for its natural corrosion resistance and its ability to withstand the most demanding outdoor conditions. To enhance its strength and durability, the aluminium is rolled (pressed to increase density) before being laser-cut and curved. It is then painted in Latvia using a state-of-the-art powder coating line powered by electricity—a rarity in Europe where gas is predominant—significantly reducing CO2 emissions during manufacturing. The paint quality is exceptional, providing a high-end, aesthetic finish.

Choosing Black Locust (Robinia): A guarantee of robustness

Often referred to as 'European Teak', Black Locust is a solid wood selected for its exceptional durability and resistance to the elements—unlike Acacia, which is far less resilient. FSC-PEFC certified and sourced from Slovenian forests, this naturally rot-resistant wood withstands the weather while bringing a touch of warmth to your outdoor space.
Thanks to its natural oil treatment, it is easy to maintain and will not flake or peel. You can allow it to weather naturally over time to achieve an elegant silver patina, or simply apply a fresh coat of oil with a brush every two years to preserve its original warm golden hue.

Yes. This coffee table is specifically engineered for year-round outdoor use, even in demanding coastal environments. The marine-grade aluminium is rust-proof and highly resistant to humidity, wind, and salt air. Every material has been selected to withstand the British weather—from heavy rain and frost to UV rays—without compromising its structure or aesthetics. The Black Locust (Robinia) wood is naturally rot-resistant and can stay in place throughout the seasons. At Belveo, we don’t believe in rushing to cover furniture at the first sign of a drizzle; our pieces are built to live outdoors, giving you total peace of mind.


What is the expected lifespan of this coffee table?

This table is designed to last 10 to 15 years under normal outdoor conditions. By choosing premium materials and offering individual spare parts, we aim to end the cycle of replacing garden furniture every few years. It can be easily replaced. From the outset, this coffee table was designed for repairability. Elements prone to wear are available as spare parts and can be replaced individually without needing to buy a whole new table. Maintenance is remarkably simple as the materials are chosen for their resilience. The wood is oiled, not varnished, meaning it won't flake or peel. To keep it looking fresh, simply apply a light coat of oil every two years—no heavy sanding required. Over time, it will develop a beautiful silvery-grey patina. The aluminium top is naturally rust-proof and unaffected by rain or humidity. It’s furniture designed to be enjoyed, not managed.

Where is it manufactured and who is the designer?

The coffee table is proudly Made in Europe. Our FSC/PEFC-certified Black Locust wood comes from Slovenian forests, offering the same rot-resistant properties as Teak but with a much lower carbon footprint. Our aluminium components are finished in Latvia using an eco-friendly electric powder-coating line. The design is the work of Armand Serafini (renowned for his work with Devialet). The Piano Piano collection blends unique curves with a timeless, minimalist aesthetic that fits any outdoor setting.

Can I see or try the table before buying?

Currently, our physical showrooms are located in France. However, we have designed our online experience to be as reassuring as a physical store: high-definition videos, detailed photography, and expert advice via video call. To give you total peace of mind, we offer a 60-day hassle-free return policy. You have two full months to confirm your choice. Once the product is returned and checked, we process your refund within a maximum of 10 days.
