What is the difference between a wall mounted or a traditional garden pergola ?

The wall mounted pergola, as the name suggests, must be supported by a wall, as it stands on 3 posts only. It is therefore often attached directly to your house. The traditional garden pergola, instead, can be placed in the middle of your garden and does not need to be attached to your house, as it stands on 6 independent posts.
