Product care

"Maintenance advice: Regularly rinse with fresh water. For routine maintenance of the frame, use a sponge and mild soap, such as black soap. Avoid using abrasive products or brushes for cleaning. If the paint and undercoat are significantly scratched, apply a water-repellent varnish (either transparent or matched to your product's colour, ideally two-component) to prevent water and air penetration, thereby avoiding rust.

Winter storage advice: Keep the parasol stored in a dry and sheltered place. Protective covers for this model are available on our website.

Recommended cover: Protective cover for center pole parasol.

Product name

The names of our products refer to particular winds, in this case the Pampero is a cold, gusty wind that blows in Argentina and Uruguay.

Exclusive to Belveo

A canopy that is only compatible with a Belveo parasol

If you have a Belveo parasol at home, you can always buy a new canopy if it has become damaged over time or if you want to change the colour or the range. As long as it is a Belveo parasol, our canopies are compatible with all our parasol. However, our canopies are not designed to be used with other parasols, as our wind protection system is unique and patented.

Change your parasol canopy easily

An interchangeable canopy to suit your needs

All our Belveo parasols are equipped with an interchangeable canopy. Would you like to change your colour in 5 years? It's possible, change the canopy, not the parasol! This avoids you having to buy a new parasol the day you want to change the atmosphere, it's more economical and eco-friendly. Thanks to a system of zips on the canopy, changing a Belveo canopy is both quick and easy.

Interchangeable premium canopy

An anti-fading olefin canopy

The olefin canopy is water-repellent, interchangeable and comes with a 5-year guarantee. The properties of an olefin fabric are excellent: it is water-repellent and will protect you against humidity or light rain, it protects against fading thanks to its solution-dyed fabric and its manufacturing process is more economical: it produces less waste and uses less water than a polyester fabric, for example. Our olefin fabric is made in Spain. Olefin fabric is ideal for regular use (at least 3 months of the year). If you use your parasol intensively (at least 6 months a year), we advise you to opt for an acrylic fabric, which is more resistant over time.

Your questions about the canopy Harmattan 3x2m - Olefin

How long will it take to be delivered?

We announce a delivery time of 1 to 5 working days. This means that you can sometimes be delivered earlier and sometimes a bit later, depending on the activity peaks.
Once you have placed an order on our website, your order will go directly to our warehouse to be packaged for delivery. Normally, once you make an order on our website it will be dispatched the next day! We estimate a delivery time of between 1 and 5 working days, taking into account unexpected circumstances that may arise ( strikes, public holiday or road works etc.).

What are the differences between polyester, olefin and acrylic canopies?

The polyester fabric is the standard material used in our centre pole and cantilever parasols. It comes with a 2-year warranty and is treated for UV protection with an UPF of 50+. However, it is particularly prone to fading, especially in darker colours such as charcoal grey and taupe. In contrast, both the olefin and acrylic fabrics are treated to resist fading and mildew, offer UV protection with an UPF of 80+, and come with a 5-year warranty. The micro-perforation in the acrylic fabric is more substantial than in the olefin fabric, enhancing airflow and thus providing greater freshness. The fabric of our acrylic canopies is produced in France by Dickson, the world leader in outdoor fabric. This makes it the premium choice for parasols.

Which canopies are compatible with my parasol?

All covers offered on our website are compatible with Belveo parasols. To find out which model you should buy, you first need to know the size of your current parasol or the name of your model. To help you find the right canopy for your parasol, our canopies have the same name as our parasols and the size of the parasol is always indicated in the name. Thus, our Foehn canopy for 3x3m parasol will be compatible with the Foehn 3x3m parasol.

How do I change the canopy of my parasol?

To change the canopy of your Belveo parasol, you just have to open the zips on each fibreglass rib and take out the ribs by bending them slightly. Once each fibreglass rib is out of its zip, you only have to unscrew the "cap" at the top of the parasol to be able to remove the cover, by passing it upwards. Now you can put the new canopy on your parasol, close the zip on each fiberglass rib, and screw on the cap.

How do I take care of my parasol canopy?

Maintenance advice: Regularly rinse with fresh water.
